MTS Super-Spike is a combination of Western Canada's biggest beach/outdoor volleyball tournament, mixed in with a two day outdoor concert series, all set in a festival atmosphere.  No other festival is like it, and it has truly become one of Manitoba's most anticipated weekends each summer.  2016 will mark the 15th anniversary for MTS Super-Spike, and plans are in the works to make it the biggest and best event to date!  Best part yet, Super-Spike is a not-for-profit charitable event with every dollar raised going to support the Winnipeg based National Women's Volleyball Team.

MTS Super-Spike takes pride in providing an amazing line up of bands each and every year.  The event is excited to welcome acclaimed Canadian rockers The Sheepdogs as this year’s headliner!! The Sheepdogs who became the first unsigned band to make the cover or Rolling Stone Magazine in 2011, have since grown to huge popularity with six top ten hits over the past five years.   Along with The Sheepdogs, MTS Super-Spike will feature a dozen live acts including Poor Young Things, The JD Edwards Band, The Proud Sons, Kenaston, Ras Tamils, Leanne Pearson and more to be announced soon!

As Western Canada's biggest outdoor/beach volleyball tournaments, MTS Super-Spike sees thousands of participants take part year after year entering co-ed teams of 6's in this action packed festival.  MTS Super-Spike offers levels of volleyball for everyone, from the highly skilled to first time players.  Three different divisions of volleyball are offered for teams to register into including recreational, intermediate and competitve.  There is also a corporate challenge division for businesses to enter where they can rewards their staff with a fun day in the sun, while supporting a charity event!  Last year saw a record sell out of 500 teams take part!  Call your friends and/or co-workers to get a team together and get signed up today!

The best part of MTS Super-Spike is that it's a not-for-profit charitable event. To date the event has raised over $940,000 in support of the Winnipeg based National Women’s Volleyball Team. This year plans are to surpass the one million dollar mark in funds raised helping support their Olympic dream. However, beginning in the summer of 2017 the National Women’s Team will be relocating to Richmond B.C. as its new base of operations. Once they move, MTS Super-Spike will be evolving its charitable funding wing to now include multiple new Winnipeg based charities each year. Further details will be released soon on this exciting evolution that is expected to leave an even bigger footprint in Winnipeg through Super-Spike supporting even more local charities in need!
