What can't I bring to MTS Super-Spike?

We try to be accommodating to all players and attendees, however we do have a list of a few things you can't bring in. Please view our Facilities page to learn more!

Where do I park?

MTS Super-Spike 2017 offers free shuttle service parking to and from the venue. Please visit the Parking page for detailed information on locations for both Friday and Saturday evening. Limited premium parking spaces at the venue are also available for purchase via the Parking page.

Can I bring my RV to MTS Super-Spike?

Campers, RVs and Trailers are not permitted to park in the Premium Parking Area or at the Shuttle Parking location. Additionally, there will be Zero-Tolerance for tailgating and drinking of alcoholic beverages outside of the licensed beverage gardens on-site. No fire pits, BBQ’s or overnight camping are allowed in the Premium Parking Area.  If you have any questions, please call the office at 204-925-5785.

How much is it to register a team or player?

The cost to play on a public team is $49 per player Early Bird until June 11th, 2017.

$59 per player after June 11th, 2017 until July 14th, 2017.

A minimum of 6 people are required per team, up to a maximum of 10.

The cost to play in the Corporate Challenge Division (teams receive VIP benefits) is $849 per team Early Bird, $999 after the Early Bird deadline. Full details can be found in the Corporate Challenge page.

How many people play at once per team?

MTS Super-Spike is a co-ed 6's tournament. This means 6 people on your team are on the court at once. Teams must have two (2) members of the opposite sex on the court playing at all times. (i.e. 2 males, 4 females / 3 males, 3 females / 4 males, 2 females)

What are the rules?

Rules can be found on our Rules page. Rules vary from the Recreational Division to the Intermediate/Competitive Divisions. Please review them prior to your first game.

When do the bands play?

Live bands perform on the MTS Super-Spike main stage from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM on the Friday, and from 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM on the Saturday. DJ's will perform in the Beer Gardens each night following the bands from 11:00 PM – 12:30 AM. A full schedule of exact band times will be listed on our Music page the week of the event.

How do I get a ticket to get into the venue and watch the bands if I am not playing in the volleyball tournament?

Weekend Passes can be purchased in advance at Ticketweb. Early Bird Tickets are available for $25 until June 11th, 2017. After June 11th, 2017, tickets will be $35.

Limited tickets will also be available for sale at the door each day of the event. All MTS Super-Spike volleyball participants receive free tickets and access to the entertainment and venue as part of their team registration package. Team registration packages can be picked up on the Thursday prior to the event.

Do I need to attend the Volunteer Orientation if I have volunteered with MTS Super-Spike in the past?

Yes! Although many of our volunteers are returning from previous years of volunteering at MTS Super-Spike, there are always changes to the event and important information that should be reviewed before your volunteer shifts even if you are a seasoned veteran of MTS Super-Spike.

What is the age limit to attend MTS Super-Spike?

You must be 18+ in order to play in the volleyball tournament. A majority of the venue areas are licensed areas. Anyone 17 and under are allowed to attend MTS Super-Spike until 10:00 PM, however they must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times. Children 12 and under get in FREE.

When will the tournament schedule be up?

The tournament schedule will be released by the end of the day on Wednesday the week of the event.

Can my team drop out and be refunded after the registration deadline?

Once Team Registration has closed, no team refunds will be given as the tournament schedule has been set for a specific amount of teams. Team Registration closes on July 14th, 2017.

When and where is the Team Captain's Meeting?

There will be no Team Captain's Meeting! But Team Captains must pick up their teams' registration package between 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM on the Thursday the week of the event at Maple Grove Rugby Park.

Team Packages will include Event Passes for each player. We'll also let you know which of your players have yet to complete the online waiver.

ALL PLAYERS MUST SIGN THE ONLINE WAIVER PRIOR TO PARTICIPATING! NO WAIVER, NO PLAY!
