A fundraising festival in support of local charities!

  • MTS Super-Spike is taking place Friday July 21 (5:00 PM – 1:00 PM) & Saturday July 22 (11:00 AM – 1:00 AM) at Maple Grove Rugby Park

  • The event is a combination of Western Canada’s biggest beach/outdoor volleyball tournament, combined with a 2-day live concert series, all set in a festival atmosphere

  • The event takes place in cooperation with the City of Winnipeg Special Events Department, with all applicable special event permits and licensing in place

  • Close to 500 teams are expected to take part this year.  Over 200 volunteers and 50 corporate partners are also required to help put on the event

  • As part of the event, live concerts take place on Friday July 21 from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM and Saturday July 22 from 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM.  A full schedule including band line-up can be found on our Line-Up page.

  • Please note that the event has been granted a Noise Permit by the City of Winnipeg Police Services with the following dates and times: Friday July 21 from 5:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight and Saturday July 22 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Midnight.
  • Professional Security, Winnipeg Police Services and First Responders will be on-site at all times
  • Public can register a team for the event ($59 per player) or purchase a Weekend Pass (for non-volleyball players, $35 each) at www.superspike.ca.

  • There is limited Premium On-Site Parking, with the majority of attendee’s utilizing a FREE park and ride shuttle system taking place at the Univiversity of Manitoba’s U-Lot

  • MTS Super-Spike is an 18+ event, however minors can attend prior to 10:00 PM as long as they are accompanied by a guardian at all times.
  • MTS Super-Spike is a not-for-profit charitable event. All proceeds go to support local charities.
